Bad Boy Mower Fuel – Old Fuel

Corrosion from old gasoline will damage or clog the small fuel ports required to start and run your machine. It will also damage the internal components of your carburetors. In order for a machine to run properly, it must be supplied with fresh gasoline.

Solution

A Bad Boy gas lawnmower requires unleaded gasoline with at least 87 octane and no more than 10% ethanol. The small engine in your Bad Boy mower can be damaged by ethanol, an environmentally friendly fuel.

The vent on the gas cap won’t close

Fuel will continue to be sucked out of the mower if the vents become blocked. However, the existing air must expand to fill a wider volume if the vents become blocked at 50 percent fuel and 50 percent air. A partial vacuum results, or a pressure drop relative to the outside.
